The following instructions should allow you to install NVDA on a flash drive so you can start it by simply pressing enter after the flash drive is inserted. For this to work you will need to have auto run enabled.
1. Extract the Portable Installer to a directory on the flash drive named,
NVDA.
2. Copy the Auto run file to the root of the flash drive.
This should allow you to simply input the flash drive to a computer, press
enter and speech should start.
This set of instructions is specific to Windows XP Service Pack Two or later. For more complete instructions and to obtain the necessary files we recommend visiting.
