The Outlook Express and Windows Mail Preview Pane

In order for your screen reader to function at its best and to protect yourself from viruses, the Outlook Express and Windows Mail Preview Pane should be closed. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: With Outlook Express or Windows Mail open, press Alt-V as in View.
Step 2: Now press the letter L for Layout.
Step 3: Tab to the Checkbox just before the Ok Button. It says "Show Preview Pane", and It should not be checked, if it is press the Space-Bar to uncheck it.
Step 4: If you found it necessary to uncheck it, than Tab to the Ok button and press Enter. Otherwise just press Enter on Cancel.
That's all there is to it and you're finished.
