2 medium onions, chopped 
3 tablespoons olive oil 
1 teaspoon sugar 
4 garlic cloves, minced 
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar 
2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream 
3 tablespoons mayonnaise 
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 
1 teaspoon salt 
1/2 teaspoon pepper 
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed 
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1In a large skillet, saute onions in oil until softened. Stir in sugar. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook for 30 to 40 minutes or until deep golden brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic and vinegar. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer. 
2In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in onion mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
