BREAKFAST CRISP

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine, softened
1 egg

Method:

Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Lightly grease 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, stir together oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and
salt. In a separate bowl, cream together brown sugar and margarine. Beat in
egg. Stir mixtures together just until blended. Pour batter into prepared
pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into
center of pan comes out clean.
I use a 9 x 13 and I spray with butter flavor Pam
