Cheese stuffed garlic nuts

Ingredients:

2 cans of crescent roll dough
10 mozzarella string cheeses, cut in half
1/2 stick of butter
2 teaspoons of fresh chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley
1 teaspoon of garlic salt

Method:

Melt butter with fresh garlic in a sauté pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until butter starts to lightly boil. Remove from heat.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place one piece of string cheese on the fat end of each crescent roll dough, folding corners tightly over the cheese, pressing seams to seal.
Place on a cookie sheet. Brush with garlic butter and bake until medium golden brown. Brush again with garlic butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt and fresh parsley.
Recipe serves eight.
