Foil pack apple crisp

Ingredients:

old fashioned oats
flour
brown sugar
granulated white sugar
cinnamon
nutmeg or allspice
Butter (and more butter)
apples
and lemon juice

Method:

First combine 1 cup of old fashioned oats, 6 tablespoons of flour, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and about a 1/4 cup of white sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg and 2 tablespoons of butter. Toss in the bowl and the butter can stay chunky.
Next slice your apples. For this recipe we use three. Make sure to core and wash them
then, toss them in lemon juice to keep fresh.
Butter the foil before putting the goodies on them.
Finally, add the mixture to the top of the apples on the foil and wrap up to put on the grill.
These don't take long. When the apples are soft, unwrap the foil to scoop some vanilla ice cream to make the crisp even better!
You can choose any kind of apples you’d like—and of course any ice cream too.
