Hot Chicken Souffle

Ingredients:

8 slices bread
2-3 C. cooked chicken, cut up
1/2 C. mayonnaise
1 med. onion, chopped
1 C. chopped celery
1 C. chopped green pepper
3-4 eggs
3 C. milk
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can mushroom soup
grated Cheddar cheese
Paprika

Method:

Dice 4 slices of bread and place into 9 x 13 pan, or 3 Qt. casserole.
Mix meat, mayonnaise, onion, celery, and gr. pepper. Spread over
diced bread. Trim crusts from remaining 4 slices of bread and place slices
over the chicken mixture. Mix eggs, milk and soup together and pour
over all. Place in refrigerator overnight. Next day: top with cheese and
paprika; bake, uncovered 350?or 180 C for 1 hour. Serves 8 to10.
