Temperature: 350
Pan Size: 10"x 4" tube pan
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs
2 cups walnuts, ground
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder


Step 1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, blending thoroughly after each addition.
Step 2. Stir in walnuts, cinnamon, and milk, blend thoroughly. Add flour which has been sifted with baking powder; blend thoroughly.
Step 3. Pour batter into well buttered baking pan and bake 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool; dust with powdered sugar.
CooksNote: Instead of the powdered sugar it can be topped with a lemon glaze.
