Things You'll Need:
1 cup of coffee
1 cup of milk
1 bar dark chocolate
Whipped cream and marshmallows (optional)
Peppermint flavoring or crushed candy cane
Melt chocolate bar over double boiler or in microwave.
Heat one cup of milk in a saucepan on low. Watch the milk carefully to make sure
that it doesn't burn or curdle; it should just reach a high enough temperature to give off steam.
Brew one cup of good coffee. If you prefer a stronger coffee taste, brew more coffee (you'll simply use less milk later).
Pour two to three tablespoons of chocolate onto the bottom of each mug. Add the milk until the mugs are half full. Stir with a spoon until you have made the mixture into hot cocoa . Add coffee until the mugs are full.
Add peppermint, marshmallows, and whipped cream to taste. Enjoy!
