SWEET VIDALIA ONION DIP

Ingredients:

2 cups diced Vidalia onion
2 cups Swiss cheese
2 cups mayo

Method:

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well.
2. Spoon into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
3. Bake at 400° F for 30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
4. Serve with crackers, rye chips, crostini, or veggies.

Helpful Hints:

🌱 RECIPE VARIATIONS
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh minced herbs
Add ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper or a couple dashes of your favorite hot sauce
Add 1 tsp. mustard powder for extra flavor
Use a combination of Swiss & Parmesan cheeses
Add ½ pound cooked bacon
STORING & REHEATING
Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. To reheat, transfer to an oven-safe baking dish and bake, covered, at 350° for about 15 minutes, until hot.
