Vegetable - Burger Soup

Ingredients:

1/2 pound ground beef
1 can (1 lb.) (2 c.) stewed tomatoes
1 can (8 oz.) (1 c.) tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 package (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 teaspoon sugar

Method:

In Dutch oven or large heavy saucepan,
lightly brown ground beef; drain off excess fat.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, frozen vegetables, onion soup

mix & sugar.
Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover & simmer 20 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
