The following commands work with the Alexa voice Messaging and calling function. The desired function appears as a heading and the command directly below it. Use your H and P key for easy reading. With recent versions of NVDA use Control plus Down Arrow.
"Alexa send (Person's Name) a message."
She provides verbal cues and allows approximately 30 seconds for the message. The message is sent automatically at the end of that time or when you stop talking.
"Alexa are there any new messages?"
Or
"Alexa read message."
"Alexa replay message."
She will replay the last message."
"Alexa call (Name of Person)
She will acknowledge and you'll hear an audible tone to let you know it's ringing.
"Alexa Hang Up."
She will disconnect the call and you'll hear an audible tone.
"Alexa turn on do not disturb."
She will acknowledge and you'll hear an audible tone.
"Alexa turn off do not disturb."
She will acknowledge and you'll hear an audible tone.
