Sound System Tab

Tab from one item to the next.

The first three items relate to your input and out put devices. We recommend leaving these alone unless they aren't working, as the defaults will usually work.

The next item is a test button. Pressing the space bar on this will allow you to hear if things are working. Tap the space bar again to stop.

The next item enables the Automatic Gain Control. We suggest making sure this is unchecked. When checked it often makes you very loud when you first enter a room before it turns you down.

The next item is enable noise reduction. This suppresses extraneous noise from your microphone, we suggest checking this.

The next item is Media volume versus voice volume. We recommend setting this between 15 and 30, this is how lowd you hear other peoples music.

The next item is the default button. This will return settings to the default settings.

Last, tab to Ok and press enter.

Sound Events Tab

In this tab you will need to tab once to the first box and then use the arrow keys to view the options. Tap the Space Bar to check or uncheck these boxes.

Only 3 items under the Sound events tab should be checked They are listed below.

Enable voice activation
Disable voice activation

Text To Speech Tab

Tab to the first box and then use arrow keys to view choices. We suggest un checking the first four as leaving them checked will cause you to hear a lot of unnecessary information. The items in this tab allow you to create or change shortcuts for various functions. Simply Tab to move through the items. If a shortcut already exists the name of the key will appear followed by a clear button. To reset the key tap the space bar on the clear button. Tab once and you'll find a setup key button. Setting Voice Activation

You may set voice activation to not come on automatically by following these steps If you are repeatedly being kicked out of a room, this is what you need to check. In order for this to work Voice Activation must be on. Use your already chosen lock key or Control Shift A to turnit on.

Next Tab down until you find Voice Activation Level. This needs to be set to 0. Once you've done this you may turn off voice activation and close out of the window. Now Voice Activation will work only if you turn it on with your preset key or Control Shift A.
