Copy And Paste Hot Keys
Knowledge of the following Hot Keys is very useful when you wish to copy
and
paste.
We've added Headings to assist in locating the function you're looking for
Select All
Control plus A Select all.
Copy To Clipboard
Control plus C Copy.
Cut To Clipboard
Control Plus X Cut.
Paste To Document
Control plus V Paste.
Reverse or Restore Last Operation
Control Plus Z restores last completed operation.
Select Lines In Upward Direction
Shift Plus up arrow Select lines one or more at a time in an upward
direction.
Select Lines In A Downward Direction
Shift Plus Down arrow Select lines one or more at a time in a downward
direction.
Note: Reversing direction unselects lines all ready selected.
Select Words One At a Time To The Right
Control Plus Shift Plus right arrow Selects single words one at a time to
the right.
Select Words One At A Time To The Left
Control Plus Shift Plus Left arrow Selects words one at a time to the Left.
Note: Reversing direction will unselect words one at a time.
Select Everything From Current Location To Top Of Page
Control Plus Shift Plus Home will select everything from current location to
the top of the page.
Select Everything From Current Location To Bottom Of Page
Control Plus Shift Plus End will select everything from current location to
the bottom of the page.
Move To Beginning Of Current Line
The Home key will place you at the beginning of the line you're on.
Move To End Of Current Line
The End key will place you at the end of the line you're on.
Select Everything From Current Location To End Of The Line
Shift Plus End will select everything from current location to the right on
a single line.
Select Everything From Current Location To Beginning Of The Line
Shift Plus Home will select everything from current location to the left on
a single line.
Delete Selected Material
Delete Key Deletes anything that's selected.
General movement keys
Move From Current Location To The Top Of The Page
Control Plus Home Will move you to the top of the page.
Move From Current Location To The End Of The Page
Control Plus End will move you from current location to the bottom of the
page.
Move Up 24 Lines
Page Up will move you up 24 lines at a time.
Move Down 24 Lines
Page Down will move you down 24 lines at a time.
