Features of the Analog Radio Controlled Talking Watch:

Key Functions:

S one - Press to hear the time vocalized. Announces hour and minute.
S2 - Press to hear the date vocalized. Announces week, month and date.

S3 — Press to hear alarm announcement vocalized. Alarm announcement. If the alarm feature is enabled, the announcement will be the time of the next alarm. If the feature is turned off, the announcement will say, "Alarm Off."

S4 - Press and hold to enter the Main Menu. Also gives Signal Reception Status when pressed once. "Time Updated" if the signal is successful or "Time Not Updated" if the signal is not successful.

Setting Up Your New Watch

The following procedure must be performed every time a new battery is installed or replaced. Please keep this instruction sheet for later use. Setup begins with all hands pointed to 12:00. Here's how:

• Install the batteries.

Hold the S one button until the second hand begins moving. The second hand can be stopped by pressing S one at any time. Resume movement by pressing and holding S one.

Stop the fast moving second hand by pressing S one before all three hands reach the 12:00 mark.
• Press S one, one short press at a time to incrementally forward the hands to point exactly at 12:00. Should you accidentally pass 12:00, the procedure must be started again.

• Press S3 to confirm the 12:00 position.

After confirmation, the watch will enter the Signal Reception Mode. (See end of manual for more details on how to receive signal reception for radio-controlled time.)

• Press and hold S one for 3 seconds for watch to exit this mode.
• Your watch will begin to run in normal operation.

Important Note: How to use S4 to scroll through the Main Menu. Main Menu settings are as follows:
Set Alarm.
Alarm On/Off.
Chime On/Off.
Global Signal Selection.
Set Time.
Second Hand Alignment.
Each selection in the menu can be accessed by a series of Press and Hold. You will hear the function spoken, followed by the button(s) that can activate changes. For example, to access the Set Time mode, you will need ' to Press and Hold the S4 button six times.

Setting the Time:

Your watch can communicate with the atomic time signal by placing it face down, in a window, overnight. Automatic adjustment happens at 3:00am, so in the morning, your watch will be accurate. You may set your watch manually by following these instructions. While the watch is in normal mode
• Enter the Main Menu Mode by pressing and holding the S4 button.
• Press S4 again to scan through the menu options until you hear,"Set Time"
• Follow the voice instructions. You will be asked to press S3 to set, then S one to add hour and S2 to add minutes.

Press S one to set hour. Every push of S one will advance the hour by one. Listen carefully to the spoken time for AM or PM. The accuracy of your alarm setting will depend on accurate time setting.

• Press S2 to set minutes.
• Press S4 to confirm time and begin normal running mode.

Second Hand Alignment

While the watch is in normal mode
• Enter the Main Menu Mode by pressing and holding the S4 button.
• Press S4 again to scan through the menu options until you hear, "Second Hand Alignment"
• Press S one one at a time until the second-hand points at 6 o'clock position.

Setting the Date: )

If the date is incorrect, check that it is set to the proper time zone. If the time zone is correct, you must leave the watch near a window bvernight so it can communicate with the atomic time signal. Your watch will read the correct date in the morning. There is no manual adjustment for date.

Setting the Alarm: :

While the watch is in normal mode
Enter the Main Menu Mode by pressing and holding the S4 button.
The first menu is "Set Alarm."
Follow the voice instructions to set the alarm. You will be asked to press S3 to set, then S one to add hour and S2 to add minutes.

Press S4 to confirm. Your alarm is set and automatically turned on.

When the alarm goes off, the watch will beep for 30 seconds and then stop. You may also push any button to stop the alarm. :

Turning the Alarm On/Off:

While the watch is in normal mode
Press and hold S4 until the watch enters the Main Menu Mode.
Press S4 again to scan through the menu options until you hear, "Alarm On/Off."
Follow the voice instructions to turn the alarm on or off.
Press S4 to confirm and resume normal running mode.

Setting the Chime On/Off:

While watch is in normal mode
Press and hold S4 until the watch enters tjhe Main Menu Mode.
Press S4 again to scan through the menu options until you hear, "Chime On/Off."
Follow the voice instructions to turn the chime on or off.
Press S4 to confirm and resume normal running mode.

Global Signal Selection

When visiting UK, Germany, USA or Japan, the watch will pick up these countries atomic time. Your watch can communicate with the atomic time signal by placing it face down, in a window, overnight. Automatic adjustment happens at 3:00am, so in the morning, your watch will be accurate.

While watch is in normal mode
Enter the Main Menu by pressing and holding the S4 button. You will hear the option "Global Signal Selection."
Press S3 to set.

Press S one to set zone. Select from UK, Germany, Japan (60 Khz Only) or USA Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern Time Zones.

Press S4 to confirm. Time is stated.

Special notes about reception of your Radio Controlled Watch:

Enter "Signal Reception Mode" as described in the initial paragraph, "Setting Up Your New Watch ." Position your watch in a flat, face-down manner, near a window. Be prepared to leave it there overnight, as signal reception (automatic time programming) occurs at 3:00am every night. In the morning, your watch will be ready and accurate to 1 second every million years. This Radio Controlled Watch even automatically accounts for daylight saving time.
