1 and 1/3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 pound real butter, NO substitutes (I use salted)
Put butter in a mixing bowl. Be sure to have it at room temperature, not
oily. Put dry ingredients in bowl and knead with hands until it becomes
a soft dough. (Not oily.) Spread dough evenly in a 9 by 9 inch pan.
Prick with fork. Bake at 325 for 55 to 60 minutes. Prick again when
done. Let cool and cut into small squares.
