Cherry Custard Pie


1 can of sour cherries
3 Eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1 tsp. vanilla


Thoroughly drain the juice from one can of sour cherries. place drained cherries in the bottom of an unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Scald
milk. Beat eggs & add to scalded milk. Mix flour & sugar. Combine with milk
& eggs and beat well. Add vanilla & beat slightly again. Pour mixture into an
unbaked pie shell over top of cherries. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
